Following on from my previous post, I have been thinking about creating a new range of map purses, from my collection of vintage maps and postcards- I just love the pastel shades of these old maps, printed onto glazed linen.

For me it would have to be Bridlington during war-time. It's where my Grandma grew up and there's always something romantic about the seaside and this era.
ReplyDeleteLovely idea! I spent a few years growing up in South Africa and dream of visiting as an adult - at an age I can remember less random things! I would love to then travel north to Zanzibar, just sounds so exciting!

My vote would be for the Champagne region with vintage champagne labels incorporated. Make a twisted wire pull from a champagne cork cage.
